Access CareConnect Provider mobile app (iOS and Android) or CareConnect Provider Web.
With Messaging you can communicate with parents right from your CareConnect account. Whether you are on the Website or on the App. Parents will see the message in their email, and can login to the app to respond. Sending a message will also create, or link, their family account with your school automatically.
**If parent doesn't use the CareConnect app, the parent will only be able to view messages via email and cannot to reply to message directly or view attachments.**
**Replies to group messages are only seen be they school**

Getting Started:
To use the Messaging Module, you must first set some configurations in the Admin Module on the Website:
Select the staff member under the Admin, then Users section to view their account details.

In Profile: Add the sites the user should have access to.
In Setting: Add all the classrooms which this staff should have access to for messaging:
In Roles: Add the Message Module role to the staff which will grant them access to the module:
Now your user can send and manage Messages!
Website:
To message parents through the CareConnect Website, start by opening the Messaging Module at the top in CareConnect. Within the Messaging Module you will have access to:
- Messages: This is the starting point to send batch messages to parents, or to view any of the batch messages sent.
- Conversations: This is the access point to view all conversations individually per student / family.
Messaging Module: You will see the list of all Messages that have been sent in the past. By clicking on the Batch ID number, you will see the time and date that the message was sent along with all of the students that this message was sent to.
To batch send a message to parents, click on +New Message, select the students, then click Next to write your message and attach any files if needed.
**Make sure that your parents have an email in your CareConnect account. To learn how you can update your parents emails, click here**
Conversations: here you will be able to see and respond to past conversations.
Mobile App:
**Be sure to add permissions for users show in the "Getting Started" section above**
Tap on More on the bottom of the app. Tap on New Message to send a New Message.
Select the students whose parents/guardians you wish to contact, tap Next to write your message and attach any files if needed, then tap Send.

Tap Conversations to view and respond to past conversations.
