When creating schedule placement, CareConnect has the ability to require schedule validation of program age placement and calendar field entry if enabled by your administrator. Enabling these settings is optional and not required for record creation/data entry.
Required fields are marked with an (*) asterisk and are not included in these settings. By default, validaton settings are disabled. Use the instructions below to enable the desired data checks.
1. Configure Admin > Enrollment > Program > Min and Max Age
When these fields are configured, the user will receive a warning to change the Student Profile > Schedule > Program or Period Start/End Date field entry if the child's age is outside the program or enrollment date requirements.
On Admin > Enrollment > Program, select the desired program name or +New to create a new program. Populate the Age Min and Age Max fields to enable program placement age check settings.
2. Configure Admin > Enrollment > Program > Care Schedule Data Check
When this setting is configured, the user will be prompted with a warning message when attempting to save if the Care or School Calendar field is left blank on the Student Profile > Schedule placement.
The following fields will be configured to be required for validation check:
- School Calendar - if Schedule 'School' hours exist
- Care Calendar - if Schedule 'Normal' hours exist and/or care is provided during school district closures
On Admin > Enrollment > Program, select the desired program name or +New to create a new program. Toggle the Care Schedule Data Check setting on/off as desired.
