If a child of a family within CC4 has a child themselves, they would need a new, separate, family data record. This can be created by following our article on how to add a new family. If any cares need to be terminated, please check out this article on how to terminate a child's care. Once that new family ID is created, you can link the two records together using our Related Entities feature.
Adding the Related Family
- Starting from the new data record, mouse over Details, and click Family Info.
- Select Related Entities and Add Related Family to begin the process
- From here, you can search for the original family data record by family ID, name, address, or other criteria. Once you have found the family, checkmark the entry to select them and click Link at the bottom.
- Now that the linkage has been established, we can finalize the process by adding a comment using the pencil icon.
