In CareConnect, you can efficiently manage Family Child Care Home Education Network (FCCHEN) Programs and configure rate types to ensure accurate enrollment and billing.
This guide will walk you through the process of adding FCCHEN programs and setting up rate types in CareConnect.
Adding an FCCHEN Program

Navigate to the Admin Module
- On the left sidebar, locate the Enrollment section.
- Click + New to add a new program.

Enter the Program Name
- After adding the program name, scroll down to the Rate Type section.

Select the Appropriate Rate Type
- If you select CA CCTR or CA CSPP Standard Rate, no additional steps are required.
- If you select Agency Daily Rate or Agency Monthly Rate, proceed to the next steps to complete the setup.
Configuring Rates for Agency Daily or Monthly Rate

Navigate to the Admin Module
- On the left sidebar, locate the Eligibility section.
- Click on the CDNFS/EENFS Categories tab.
- Then, select the Rates tab.

Add a New Rate
- Click + New to add rates.
- Enter the Effective Date for the rates.

Assign Rates to CDNFS/EENFS Categories
- Select the appropriate CDNFS/EENFS Category from the list.
- Input the corresponding rates for each category.
- Click Save to confirm the changes.
4. Ensure All Required Categories Have Assigned Rates
- It is crucial to assign rates to all applicable CDNFS/EENFS Categories for the program.
- For example, ensure that both 9500 and 9500 MHCS categories have assigned rates.
