When creating multiple care schedules for a child with different providers, it is important to make sure the care doesn't overlap.
If the system finds that your new care schedule overlaps with an existing one, a window will appear displaying the conflicting schedule.
If you continue without making changes to the current schedule, you'll receive another warning if you try to submit it. This second warning will allow you to select the action you'd like to take on the conflicting schedule.
If the conflicting schedule was created in error, you'll be able to void it at this step. If the conflicting care has ended due to a change in provider or a change in the child's schedule, you'll also be able to terminate the old schedule here.
If the provider in your new care schedule is an alternate or secondary provider, you can select keep as the action.
You'll just need to make sure that you made the appropriate provider selection when first creating the care schedule (See Creating a Schedule with Dual or Alternate Providers).
Additionally, CC4 has the ability to detect overlapping times when creating a care schedule for a family.
If an overlap in the child's schedule is detected, you'll receive the following window:
To fix this, you can go back by selecting edit and ensuring that the child does not have the same type of care with overlapping time, specifically for Secondary schedules.
