📄 Provider Profile Statuses in CareWait
The Provider Profile Status helps Office Users track the progress of profile updates and ensure timely publishing. Below is a breakdown of the available statuses and how they function in the CareWait system.
🔹 Profile Update Statuses
1. No Profile
What it means: This status is automatically set when a new provider record is created by an Office User in CareWait.
Action required: The profile has not yet been created or edited and needs to be filled out and published.
2. Publish Pending
What it means: This status appears when any field within the provider profile is edited and saved.
Visual indicator: "Publish Pending" will appear in red in the Summary Tab. It will be located under the "Status & Profile" section to alert the Office User that the profile has changes that have not yet been published.
Action required: The Office User must publish the profile to complete the update process.
3. Publish Complete
What it means: Once a profile with an Update Pending status and the Profile is published, the status automatically changes to Publish Complete.
No further action is needed until the next update is required.
Note: The Profile Update Status cannot be manually edited. Status updates automatically, based on user actions (create, edit, publish).
🖥️ Provider Dashboard Enhancements
To improve visibility, Profile Update Status is now displayed directly on the Provider Dashboard, allowing Office Users to monitor the status of each profile quickly and clearly.
✅ Publishing Profiles
In previous versions, only providers with an Active status could have their profiles published. This restriction has been removed.
New Rule: As long as the Profile Update Status is not 'No Profile', the provider profile can be published — regardless of the provider's general status.
⚠️ If a profile cannot be published, an error message will appear to inform the user of the issue.
By understanding and using the Provider Profile Statuses, Office Users can manage provider data more effectively and ensure profiles are always up to date.
