Adding a Case Note can be accomplished in any of three ways in Care Control. You can create a Case Note through the Notes and Tasks tab, New Button, and the Hamburger menu.
I. Adding a Case Note using the Notes and Tasks Tab.
To access a detailed history of Notes and Tasks that have been created, you can utilize the Notes and Tasks Tab.'
From the Notes and Tasks Tab, you are able to perform a variety of actions, including:

Adding a note, using the Add button located on the right hand corner of the tab.

Search the note history, including a sort function located to the right of the search bar.

This includes filtering Notes based on their creation date, between:

Last Week
-
Last Month
-
Last Three Months
-
Last Year
-
User Defined
-
-
In addition, there is the More filter, which can filter between

What user created the Note
-
The Category of Note
-
The Tag of Note
-
and to include voided notes
-
-
-
Export the Notes History, in either a .pdf or .xlsx file.
II. Adding using the New Button.
In Care Control, we have the capability of adding a Case Note at any point in time by using the New button, located at the top right of the Family File.
After clicking the New button, a drop-down menu will appear with a list of options. To add a Case Note, click the Note button, which is the first located on the drop-down menu. After clicking the Note button, a new menu will appear to generate a new note.

From the Add Note window , you can:

Add a Category for the note to be filed under.

Add a Tag to help search for the note later through filters.

Format the content of your message.

Notify the owner that a note has been created.

Save the note to be added to the note history.

III. Adding a Case Note Using the Hamburger Menu.
The quickest way to add short case notes to the family file is by using the Hamburger Menu, located on the top right of the family file.

After clicking the Hamburger Menu, a slide-out menu will appear with three tabs: Notes, Tasks, and Logs. Care Control will default to the first selection, which is the Notes tab.

After the Notes tab is selected, it will display a history of the last 30 notes in the family file. To Generate a new note, click the Add a Note text box located at the top of the Note History. From there you will be able to write the information that you want to record as a case note.

After the content of the note has been created, you have the option to

Save the note as is

Cancel the note to delete it

Add information, which will open a new Add Note window

From the Add Note window , you can:
