Access CareConnect Provider mobile app (iOS and Android) or CareConnect Provider Web.
CareConnect lets you fix mistakes or request parent signatures when needed.
- If a signature was entered incorrectly, you can reject and recapture it.
- If staff have entered or changed attendance, you can request a parent signature.
- You can also send an email for parents to review and sign the attendance.
These functions are found under the Attendance > Daily > Group tab options: Reset Signature and Send Confirm Attendance Signature Notification
A. Reset Signature
When signing a child in or out for attendance and a parent signature is not captured as needed for reporting or auditing purposes, users can request that the parent re-enter the signature for a specific date.
In the CareConnect web Attendance > Daily page, return the desired student list and select the checkbox next to the name of the child who's attendance signature needs to be recaptured.
Select Group >Reset Signature to send the parent a request to re-enter the signature for the requested date.
B. Send Confirm Attendance Signature Notification
When staff signature entries have been captured for a child's in and out times, use the Send Confirm Attendance Signature Notification feature to request a parent signature confirmation of the staff entry.
In the CareConnect web Attendance > Daily page, and select the checkbox next to the name of the child who needs a signature. You will see a "N" to indicate No Signature.
Select Group > Send Confirm Attendance Signature Notification to send the parent a request to re-enter the signature for the requested date through their contact email.
If there are no staff time in or out entries or edits, the system will return a message that reads 'The Student(s) has no Attendance Records to confirm. Notifications will not be sent.'
C. Parent Notification
For both functions listed above, the parent will receive attendance confirmation notice when selecting to Sign In or Out their child on the next login event. If you selected to Send Confirm Attendance Signature a request to view and sign the attendance will be sent to contact information on file with a link to follow that will allow them to sign remotely.
If the parent chooses to Skip, staff can resend the signature reset or confirmation functions.
