This article is to address the change effective no later than March 1st, 2024, where full time care determination has been changed to be 25 hours or more per week, from the previous 30 hours or more.
Changing your Environment's Configuration
It will be your agency's responsibility to change the system configuration for when all newly created care schedules should use the new rule. Users with access to the Admin module in CC4 will need to navigate to the "System Config" setting, search for "Claim.Calculate.FTWeeklyHours," and change the value in the description from 30.0 to 25.0. Once this adjustment has been made, all care schedules made from this point onward will default to FT RMR if it is over 25 hours and PT otherwise.
Updating Existing Care Schedules
Though changing the configuration will apply this adjustment to all newly created schedules, existing cares will need to be updated manually to reflect the correct RMR. We have created a "PT Cares over 25 Hours" to help you find these instances.
*NOTE: This report solely looks at approved hours of care and will not remove a result once you have updated its RMR.
For every child with active care between 25-30 hours, you will need to edit their rate directly.
After entering Edit mode for the schedule, you can utilize the + button and add a new entry for when the FT rate should start. Once this has been completed, please feel free to save and go through the process as per usual (determining if any payments need to be reviewed).
