Question:

Why does the student's grade change when we haven't modified it?

Answer: 

CareConnect has a built-in system job that automatically updates the grade level. The system job run time is set at night. In July of each year, the grade level will go up one level according to the current grade of the student. The grade levels are as follows:

• TK
• PreSchool
• PreK
• Kindergarten
• 1st Grade
• 2nd Grade
• 3rd Grade
• 4th Grade
• 5th Grade
• 6th Grade
• 7th Grade
• 9th Grade
• 9th Grade
• 10th Grade
• 11th Grade
• 12th Grade

For example, if the student is "TK", in July, CareConnect will automatically change the grade to "PreSchool". Next year in July, CareConnect will automatically change the grade to "PreK". Again, next year in July, CareConnect will automatically change the grade to "Kindergarten" and so on and so on...

Keep in mind, if the student is on track to start "Kindergarten" next year, then you can update the grade level to "PreK" so that once July comes around CareConnect will automatically update to "Kindergarten".
