Question:
Why are my text messages not sent to parents or guardians?
Answer:
If you are attempting to send Text Messages to Parents and Guardians, but they are unable to receive the messages, it's possible that they do not have Short Code Texting enabled.
Texts are important to receive since it's the main form of communication in CareConnect. Some examples of text message notifications include:
- Receiving a signature on a Time Sheet request
- Receiving a missing signature notification
- Receiving PIN code
Unfortunately, this is not a device setting, it is an account setting from the phone's Network Provider (Verizon, Sprint, T-Mobile, etc.,). Please instruct your Parents and Guardians to contact their Network Providers if they are unable to receive the CareConnect text messages. For the majority of Network Providers, this can be achieved by dialing *611.
If *611 does not work, please refer the parent or guardian to contact their Network Provider support directly
