ChildFolio allows teachers to add skill assessments for children to export to DRDP Tech. Below are instructions on how to add these skill assessments.
To add skill assessments for children you will need to go into Moments and click on Reports.
The boxes with numbers indicate how many moments with that skill have been captured for the child. The shade of the box indicates the level of the assessment.
A light shade-colored box: The assessment level was not scored at a high point.
A darker shade-colored box: The assessment level was scored at a higher point.
A gray box: The child has a skill that was tagged in a moment but was not rated.
**If ever needed and you notice that your data is not up to date you can always click on the refresh button on the top right corner to get your most up-to-date data.**
Any box that has a number can be tapped on to see all related moments. Any time there are multiple rating periods for your classroom, you can click on the rating period name to select a different rating period to view.
You can tap on the name of a child to be taken to their individualized skill report.
Inside the skill report, you can see the domains and measures along with the number of moments and final rating.
The number of moments value is the number of moments associated that have this skill attached slash the number of moments that have this skill assessed.
To view the details of the moments associated with the skill click on the skill name. This graph will give you an overview of how your student has been rated for the correlating moments with this skill. From here you can click on the points to view the moment.
After reviewing those moments you can give your student their final rating for this skill. The final rating field is where you can tap to set a final rating that will be exported to drdrp tech.
**It is important to note that while skills should be assessed after moments have been captured, if your evidence is outside of child folio you can still apply ratings to measures without any moments recorded**
