In the event of any of the following circumstances taking place—namely, a child's discontinuation of participation in your program, a child's transition to a different classroom with the intention of preserving their classroom experiences, or a child's transfer to a different classroom while desiring to maintain the memories and experiences accumulated in your classroom—the following guidelines shall be observed:
Child's Discontinuation of Participation in Your Program
Rating periods are closely tied to classroom assignments. When a child is removed from a classroom, the associated rating period information pertaining to that classroom become inaccessible.
Should a child depart from your program, it is possible to designate their status as "inactive" without necessitating their removal from the current class. This approach ensures the continuity of the rating period's visibility for the child.
To facilitate the transition of a child and their moments to a different classroom, you can use the "Remove" option. This action seamlessly transfers both the child and their moments to the new classroom.
Transitioning a Child to a Different Classroom While Preserving Moments in your Classroom
If you wish to transfer a child to a different classroom, this can be accomplished without the need to remove the child from their existing room. By doing so, you can preserve the rating period information from both the previous and current classrooms.
In the event that a child is inadvertently removed from a classroom, it should be noted that the associated rating period information for that specific classroom will no longer be accessible. However, you can readily re-add the child, and the rating information for the corresponding period will be reinstated.
