This guide will go through the instructions on how to invite parents to use the CareConnect app. From now on, please have parents use CareConnect to view their moments instead of the ChildFolio app. As for teachers and staff, please continue to use ChildFolio as normal to upload moments. Getting Started

1. Login to CareConnect

    a. Website - careconnect.carecloud.io

    b. Use your same ChildFolio account to login

        i. Same email

        ii. Same password

Updating Parent Contact & Sending Invitations

1. Go to the Students Module then, Parents Accounts section

2. Add Parent information in "All Students" or "Parent Accounts"

    a. Please have parents' first name, last name, and email ready.

    b. 2 ways to add a parent:

        i. Click on + Add Parent next to each student's name

            1. Enter First Name

            2. Enter Last Name

            3. Enter Email

            4. Click Save

        ii. Click on the student's name to go into the Student Profile

            1. Click on + Add Parent

            1. Enter First Name

            2. Enter Last Name

            3. Enter Email

            4. Click Save

3. Invite Parents

    a. In the Student's Profile click on Invite below the parent/guardians name

    b. Make sure the email is selected.

    c. Select Invite

Parent Preview of the Invitation

Once parents are invited, they will receive an email that will take them through the process of creating their account and password.

After the parent has accepted the invitation, parents will then download the CareConnect app and log in.

Note: If a parent has an existing FamilyPortal or ChildFolio account, those parents simply need to download the CareConnect app and use the same login information.
