ABS |

Claim Period |
A length of time for claim payment, the period is monthly basis. |

Extended Week |
The last week of a month when the last day of that month does not end with a Saturday, and the days to complete the week runs through next month’s first few days. Example 4/1/14 is on Tuesday, the extended week for 1st week in April and last week in March will be 3/30/14-4/5/14 |

The amount of money that providers spend on costs other than care. |

Agency |
The intermediary between the government and the provider that issues the eligibility of the provider and his/her services and distributes the money provided by the government for child care services. |

Claim |
The submission of a request of reimbursement for care by a provider. The family must first be deemed eligible for care by an agency |

Enrollment Request |
The process in which a family submits their personal information to determine if they are eligible for care |

Family |
The household of parents and children for which whom said parents are legally responsible |

Family Eligibility |
