This article will provide you with a step-by-step guide on enrolling new students into your program through CareConnect.

 

Step 1. Add Student enrollment record in CareConnect Provider Web. Your login credential is the same as your ChildFolio credential. 

 

You can use the "Quick Add" function to efficiently add students to your account. This feature allows you to swiftly enter student information."

1. From Add -> Click Quick Add Student.

2.  A pop-up window will appear, allowing you to input the new student's information. The available fields include:

• Name: Student's first, middle, and last name
• DOB: Student's date of birth
• Program: Student's program
• Site: Student's site
• Classroom: Student's classroom (This classroom setting is for attendance, ratio, enrollment, and messaging purposes. For more information, see Contactless Attendance Overview / Resumen de Atendencia Sin Contacto/ 无接触式考勤概述)

TIP: Fields marked with the * are required. 

3.  Click Save to finish adding the new student.

 

Note: Once added, you can find the student in the list. You click the student name to open Studnet profile. 

Please make sure the student's Default Site is set to the right Site. CareConnect and ChildFolio share the same site setting for students. All students added to the CareConnect site will automatically appear under the same site in ChildFolio in an Unassigned classroom. 

Step 2. Assign newly added students to a ChildFolio classroom through ChildFolio Web.

 

1. To add students to a specific class, navigate to the Students module in ChildFolio. 

 

2. To find the student you added in CareConnect, select the Site and set the Classroom filter to Unassigned.

3. Now click on the pencil icon to access the students' Basic Information Tab.

4. Next, click on "+ Select Class" to see the list of options.

 

5. Select the desired classroom and click Save. Then click Save again on student profile. 

 

 

Now the student should have a ChildFolio classroom assignment. When adding a moment, the student should appear in the student list.
