Using CareConnect, parents will gain online access to apply for childcare assistance with your Program. This article will walk you through the steps to add a new application. Agencies using CareConnect to manage their waitlists will have a landing page you can access from their website. Once you've accessed their application landing page, identify if you are a new or returning parent.
If you are a new parent, you will be prompted to create a new CareConnect account. Returning families will be brought to the CareConnect Family login page to log into their existing account.
A. Family
The Family tab is the first section when creating a New Application. This section in the application captures the general information for your family.
Fill out the information for all available fields as needed and select Next at the bottom right corner to continue to the next section.
TIP: Fields marked with the asterisk (*) are required.
B. Parent
The Parent tab is the second section when creating a New Application. This section in the application captures your additional contact information.
By default, only the Parent A section is available which allows you to enter information for the primary parent or guardian. If you have a spouse, select Add Parent B to fill out the information for the secondary parent in the family.
Fill out the information for all available fields as needed and select Next at the bottom right corner to continue to the next section.
C. Income
The Income tab is the third section when creating a New Application. This section in the application captures the monthly income for your family.
Start by selecting which parent the income source is tied to, the income source, and the monthly amount. Each income source is either deducted from, counted towards, or not counted to the total monthly income. The system will automatically calculate your total monthly income based on this information.
Fill out the information for all available fields as needed and select Next at the bottom right corner to continue to the next section.
C. Child
The Child tab is the fourth section when creating a New Application. This section in the application captures the child(ren)'s information that are seeking childcare.
By default, only one child section is available which allows you to enter information for the first child in your family. If you have more than one child seeking care, select Add Another to fill out the information for the other child(ren).
Fill out the information for all available fields as needed and select Next at the bottom right corner to continue to the next section.
D. Criteria
The Criteria tab is the last section when creating a New Application. This section in the application captures your child(ren)'s childcare criteria.
To fill out the criteria for your child(ren) seeking care, select one or multiple children if the criteria is the same.
If you have multiple child(ren) with different childcare needs, select Add Another to add additional childcare criteria.
Fill out information for all available fields as needed and select Submit to finish creating the proxy application for your family.
