Question:
When should the “void” schedule be used?
Answer:
In CareConnect, the "void" schedule function can be used to delete the Student Schedule (student care) if it was added in error and should not have been added at all. The deleted schedule will have a 'voided' status and will be excluded from Student Care, Attendance, and Reports that are scheduled/attendance related.
The Void status should only be used when you are certain that a student no longer needs to be associated with a certain site or classroom.
Voiding a schedule under the Students List:
- Within the Student's list, locate the student's schedule you wish to void
- Select
to edit the schedule → Select VOID on the bottom left, which will change the status of that selected schedule to "voided".
Voiding a schedule under the Student's Schedule tab:
- Go to Student Profile → Open the Schedule tab
- Locate the schedule that needed to be voided → Click
to edit the schedule
- In the Edit Schedule page → Select VOID at the bottom right, which will change the status of a selected schedule to "Void".
If a schedule was voided by accident and should not have been voided, you can undo that action by:
- Go to Student Profile → Open the Schedule tab
- Change the status filter to show only void schedule statuses
- Locate the voided schedule that should not have been voided → Click
to edit
- In the Edit Schedule page → Select UNVOID at the bottom right, which will change the status of that selected schedule back to "Active".
