All students from CareConnect will automatically be put into the unassigned category of the Site. Currently, students cannot be manually added to ChildFolio and it has to be done through CareConnect. Below are instructions on how to assign and add students to a specific class.
To add students to a specific class, navigate to the Students module.
By default, when new students are added, they will be put into the unassigned category of the Site. To start the move process. You will need to first find the student that you want to move. To do so select the site and classroom that the student is currently in.
If the student has just been imported from CareConnect you will need to select the class Unassigned.
Once you have the criteria filled click Search
You will now be able to move student(s) individually or by bulik by clicking on the checkbox to the left of the student's name and selecting the class you want to move the student to.
To perform the move action, click on the Edit Class button.
Here you can fill in the criteria for the Site and Classroom you would like to move the student to.
**If moving the student from a different classroom you will have the option to remove the student from the class via the toggle switch here**
Once you have confirmed your move action click Save and your student(s) will be successfully moved into the target class.
